Strahan Holiday Park
The Strahan Holiday Park offers self-contained cabin accommodation at Strahan on Tasmania’s west coast. Strahan is a four-and-a-half-hour drive from Hobart (298 kilometres) and Launceston (290 kilometres).
The Park has standard one-bedroom cabins, which have a double bed, well-equipped kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. There are also one- and two-bedroom deluxe cabins. These have a queen or double bed in the main bedroom and a double bunk bed in the second bedroom. Spa cabins, large family cabins and cottages sleeping up to 10 guests are also available. Linen is supplied.
The Strahan Holiday Park is set on four acres of natural bush and gardens. Facilities include a guest laundry, amenities block and barbecue areas. A safe swimming beach is a short walk from the Park and a boat ramp and jetty, café and local store are all nearby.
Strahan is located on the edge of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. You can take a seaplane flight over the southwest wilderness, cruise the Gordon River, or walk along 40 kilometres of uninterrupted sand and surf on Ocean Beach. Browse the craft shops for work by local artisans or relax in a local restaurant and enjoy fine Tasmanian food and wine.
