We can take you on a guided tour on the Henty Sand Dunes, the most magnificent sand dunes in Tasmania, or take you on a tour which will take you on a train journey, and through an ancient rainforest (Teepookana Rainforest).
Our new three seater buggy now means we can take children.The buggy tour is the same as the four wheel motorbike Henty Sand Dunes, but Mum or Dad can now take up to 2 children along per tour. Some age and height rescrictions apply.

Henty Sand Dune TourBy being a part of this guided tour you will not only get to see some of the most magnificent Sand Dunes in Tasmania (and the World), but you will also get to ride your own 4 wheel Motorbike. This tour is desiged for the novice as well as the more accomplished riders. The Motorbikes are simple to operate and also have an automatic clutch. There is a briefing on safety and riding characteristics of the bike and then you will find yourself cruising the Henty Dunes. The 30-45 minute trip will be an exhilarating experience that you will not forget. All Riders must have a full car licence - that means no L or P plates. Tour operates daily on demand. Minimum two bikes per tour, maximum five bikes per tour. Cost $45.00 per bike. This tour is also available as a Buggy tour so you can take the kids. The Buggy can take three people. The driver still needs to have a full car license but the passengers don't. The passengers need to be about 90 cm tall (4-5 year old kid). Driver $50, 1st passenger $30, 2nd passenger $20, Family of 4 $ 125 Teepookana Rainforest TourThe Teepookana Huon Pine Rainforest tour is a 3.5 to 4 hour tour for which you will need some motorbike experience (the Sand Dune tour is enough). Your journey through the lost and timeless world that is the Teepookana Plateau, begins at the Regatta Point Train Station. Where you will board a train that will take you along the King River to Lower Landing, at which point you will start to ride your motorbikes. Winding our way through ancient Rainforest that has been in place for thousands of years. We will see logging sites, a lookout tower, an old Piners hut whilst travelling along old logging roads that rarely if ever get used. This tour is not suitable for beginners, previous experience on a 4 wheel motorbike is a must. Sturdy footwear as well as trousers and a long sleeve top are a requirement. It will get muddy in places so do not wear your Sunday best. Bookings essential. We have to book a train for this tour so we need two weeks notice. A cancellation fee does apply.
