The vessels extra large windows and spacious layout provides the maximum in passenger comfort on a morning or afternoon cruise. But the Island has an intriguing twist in the tale, which is brought to life by energetic guides and will leave you smiling. Two hours on the wide, brown Gordon River follows. The serenity of this timeless wilderness experience is rejuvenating and is the undoubted highlight of the cruise. A stroll in ancient forests at Heritage Landing puts you shoulder-to-shoulder with Huon pine and myrtle trees more than 2,000 years old. The buffet luncheon featuring locally grown smoked salmon completes the day and sets the scene for the relaxing journey home.
