The oldest building in the township of Sorell, the Barracks is a colonial Georgian terrace built in 1827. The delightful building and little garden cottage have retained all the charm of the era, and have been enhanced with all the modern comforts and amenities to make your stay very comfortable.
There is something to suit everyone's needs, for couples, friends and families, with a two bedroom spa suite, two upstairs lofts and a gorgeous little garden cottage.
Sorell is the gateway to the Tasman Peninsula and the East Coast, and the Port Arthur Historic Site is approximately one hour’s drive away. The location is perfect for exploring the east coast’s many attractions. There are pubs and restaurants located within walking distance and many shops and Sunday markets to explore.
