Beachbreaks Marion Bay
BeachBreaks is an architect-designed, self-contained holiday house at Marion Bay in southeast Tasmania. Marion Bay is a short drive east of Copping on the Arthur Highway, en route to the Forestier and Tasman peninsulas.
BeachBreaks is set within an established native garden on an 18-acre property. Guests stay in the spacious, two-bedroom bungalow. There is a main double bedroom and the second bedroom can include a double and two single beds, or two doubles. The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with complimentary breakfast provisions. The bungalow has floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views of farmland, Marion Bay and Maria Island. There is also an outdoor barbecue area and elevated timber deck.
Beach Breaks exhibits original work by Tasmanian artists, photographers and furniture makers. It is also the home of Bream Creek Furniture, producing hand-crafted pieces made from Tasmanian specialty woods including blackwood, myrtle and Huon pine.
Local activities include beach and forest walks and wildlife watching. You can drive south to the Port Arthur Historic Site and discover the area’s convict history. Try Tasmanian wines at local wineries or browse through galleries. See Tasmanian devils at a wildlife park, or sample local seafood and Tasmanian produce in Peninsula cafes and restaurants.
