The Wilderness Retreats are located at the southern most tip of the Australian mainland in one of Victoria's most loved parks - Wilsons Promontory or 'the Prom', as it is affectionately known. From sun-drenched summer beaches to secluded winter walks amongst rainforest, the Prom is a park for all people during all seasons.
Wilsons Promontory protects over 50,500 hectares which includes some of Victoria's best beaches, cool shaded rainforest gullies, cloud soaked mountain peaks, rugged offshore islands and a remote Lightstation illuminating seas surrounding the southern tip. There are also the stunning underwater rocky reefs, sponge gardens, crowded seal colonies and seagrass beds.
Walking, camping, swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving, photography, nature study and simply relaxing are among the many things to do in this beautiful national park.
