The Grange Cafe and Deli
The Grange Cafe & Deli is an established business in the township of Warragul, about 110km east of Melbourne. Warragul is a rural township situated in the splendour of West Gippsland and surrounded by the majestic Baw Baw plateau. In addition to the beauty of the location, the region has several wineries and fine restaurants and tourist attractions such as the Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort.
The Grange is a licensed cafe and deli that offers the customer a gourmet experience through food and wine. We aim to promote local produce wherever possible through the cafe food and throughout the deli produce. The shop is stocked full of local jams, chutneys, wines, cheese, sauces or anything you may need to fill a gourmet hamper.
As we aim to promote the local, the launch of the 'Taste of Gippsland' hamper range is a direct example of this. The 'Taste of Gippsland Hamper' component of the business directly promotes the finest local produce in a classy gift format targeting both the personal and corporate markets. We believe the 'Taste of Gippsland Hampers' can help increase Gippsland's profile as a food, wine and tourism destination.
To teach and share knowledge is important to the Grange. We have established a cooking school, which continues to grow from strength to strength. This provides the consumer the opportunity to learn skills in using local produce in their cooking and to promote the message of eating healthy, fresh and local.
The Grange is Warragul's CBD tourist information centre. The Grange houses the local tourist information stand offering the tourist up to date local knowledge and information required for your journey through Baw Baw Country.
Visitors are welcome to come and taste and experience Gippsland or to just gather information about what Gippsland has to offer.
