Walhalla Museum

This business is owned and operated by the Walhalla Heritage & Development League. It is situated in the old Gold Era Shops which were rebuilt after the 1888 fire that desimated a large portion of the towns business district.


We operate as the local Post Office and Gift Shop and house the museum for the Heritage League. We run tours during the day for all types of groups and do gold panning, ideal for school groups. We also run Ghost Tours in the town on the first 3 Saturday Nights of the month.
