BIG4 Bendigo Ascot Holiday Park is situated on the northern side of Bendigo, 4.5 kms or 5 minutes drive from the centre of town (the fountain), off the main road in Heinz Street, WHITE HILLS. The Jones family operates this quiet, clean, four and a half star park, renowned for its cleanliness and guest service.
The park has a range of new units of modern design and superior appointments - including open plan Studios, one bedroom cottages, two bedroom family, villa and holiday units and three bedroom deluxe cabins - as well as a range of high standard budget cabins.
For caravanners and campers, exceptionally spacious en-suite sites await, as well as large powered sites (grass or slab, shady or open, some drive through) and shady unpowered sites.
The amenities block, guest laundry and camp kitchen are centrally located. The camp kitchen is particularly well appointed with barbeques, 4 burner cook top, microwave, kettle, large fridge and bench space.
Park facilities include an in-ground salt pool, heated spa, mini golf course, basketball rink, playground, games room, internet kiosk and small shop.
Tourist attractions, sporting arenas, shopping, dining and entertainment venues are a short drive away. Public transport is located 300 metres from the front of the park. In close proximity is the Bendigo Pottery, the Botanical Gardens and Botanical Gardens Hotel (a good bite to eat, walking distance from the park), racecourse, Bendigo Golf Course, White Hills and Golf Course bowling clubs, horse riding centre, The Zone (large children's entertainment complex) and many walking and bike riding trails.
