Halls Gap Acres
Halls Gap Acres is a large self contained holiday house on 7 acres of land, 1 km from the Halls Gap Shops. It can comfortably accommodate 1 - 2 families or up to 6 Adults + children. There are four bedrooms, two with queen sized beds, and two rooms with bunk beds, plus spare mattresses and a sofa bed in the lounge room. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas. All beds have electric blankets, doonas and pillows.
Halls Gap Acres is on a large flat bush block and is one of the biggest properties within the Halls Gap Township. It boasts wetlands on one boundary, the Grampians National Park on another boundary and a seasonal creek running through the property. There are views of the Pinnicle Range and Chataqua Peak, and the 'Watch Tower' Climbing peak is walking distance.
There is both a large lounge room plus a separate Games room. The Lounge room has both a Log fire and Gas fire to ensure warmth on arrival. Air-conditioning and fans for the warm weather.
The games room sports a table tennis table, TV, video and DVD players. There is a selection of books, magazines and children s games.
There is well equipped, open planned kitchen adjoining the dining and lounge area.
The large balcony with table setting, two 'steamer' chairs and hammock enables the visitor to enjoy mountain views and observe birds and kangaroo. The outdoor open fire place enables evenings of toasting marshmallows and watching the stars.
The tree swing and cubby provides enjoyment for the children as well as exploring the block. A short walk along side the wet land leads to the town walking track, Clementis Falls and Chataqua Peak. A short walk further down Mt. Zero/Flat Rock Road leads to a climbing peak which can also be hiked up to enjoy fabulous views of the surrounding district.
