At the end of Seabird Court is Deep Creek Reserve, nature walk to the beach. It is known for its local flora and wild birds. Free public tennis courts and playground are here. Town centre is 3 minutes by car or 20 minute walk.
Torquay is the gateway to the scenic Great Ocean Road and home to Bells Beach Pro Surfing championships. On the highway, just a 10 min. walk, are surf shops and factory outlets for surfing enthusiasts.
