Located in the picturesque Howqua valley on a tranquil 50 acres Calm Waters offers guests two separate styles of accommodation. 5 beautifully presented Family Cottages on a lower level, each with easy access to the retreat's recreation facilities which include a tennis court, outdoor pool and giant chess board, & 4 Chalets purposely designed for 'Couples Only' that are situated higher on the hillside overlooking the valley, each with a slightly different but never-the-less stunning view of the valley and mountains beyond. All accommodation units are fully self contained with private BBQ facilities, wood fires and large spa baths and offer an abundance of relaxation.
Calm Waters is at the centre of an area rich with opportunities for fun and excitement outdoors, with it's close proximity to Lake Eildon & 5 alpine rivers it is the perfect base for fishing, horse riding, winery tours, bush walking, 4x4 driving and the snow resorts of Mt Buller and Mt Stirling . With the townships of Mansfield and Jamieson close at hand and the heritage they offer there is an abundance of things to do.
Easily accessible from Melbourne Calm Waters is a leisurely 2.5 hour drive through some of the finest countryside the north east has to offer.
