Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
The MELBOURNE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA is Victoria's premier orchestra and gives over 90 performances a year.
The MSO has a reputation for excellence, developed through its performances of the great symphonic masterpieces and for attracting world acclaimed artists.
The MSO performs at various metropolitan venues including its primary performance venue - the Arts Centre, Hamer Hall (100 St Kilda Road, Melbourne). The Orchestra also regularly tours throughout regional Victoria.
The MSO's annual season runs from February to December and the majority of performances occur on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings. There are also Saturday matinees and Sunday morning chamber performances.
