Melbourne Water Taxis has been operating on the Yarra and Maribyrnong Rivers for the past 10 years delivering a professional, efficient and reliable service, seven days a week, all year round. We currently have four vessels: 3 Ex-Navy taxis which each carry up to 12 people and Rebecca which carries up to 26 passengers. All our vessels are clean and well maintained. Each has excellent viewing from seated positions both inside and out allowing one to take in the sights and even if the weather is unfavourable, there is enough cover for all passengers. Our boats are also easy to board and disembark, even in a wedding dress! Our taxis go where you want, when you want and offer a number of services including: charters, corporate shuttles, Flemington Race Course, birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions with wedding arrivals and departures being our specialty. Melbourne Water Taxis also transfers passengers to sporting events (such as the Australian Open, Rugby and AFL matches) and concerts. Some of our destinations are: Williamstown, Docklands, Pier 35, function and reception centres on the river, Herring Island, Anglers Tavern, Footscray Rowing Club, Flemington Race Course and Henderson House. We also recommend booking prior to the date of travel.
