Built in 1932, this beautiful rendered sandstone property is nestled in the leafy and exclusive Whitecliffs area of Rye. Your hosts Lorraine and Charles have recently renovated the west wing to create three deluxe rooms The Bahamas, The New Havana and the Georgia, with full ensuites, all are elegantly appointed with quality fittings. Books, games, DVDs and CDs are there for your use.
Delicious cooked breakfasts, a feature of Plantation House, are served in the dining room or in the summer months, alfresco, through the French doors on the decking overlooking the tropical garden.
Plantation House is set in spacious garden setting and also features an undercover, heated Jacuzzi hidden away in the tropical garden. We welcome you to enjoy our warm hospitality and fine food.
Only a minutes walk to Rye's beautiful foreshore, 5 minutes to shops and restaurants, Plantation house is ideally located to take advantage of all that Rye and the Mornington Peninsular has to offer.
Both Rye front beach and Rye back beach (St Andrews Beach) are in close proximity of each other; swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing and snorling and diving are all available for your enjoyment.
Go horse riding on the beach, cycling or walking in the nearby national parks. Visit the many wineries in the area or play golf at your choice of many quality golf courses.
