Rye Tea Tree Cottage
Rye Tea Tree cottage is a lovely Western Red Cedar Cottage nestled within the Ti trees in a rustic private setting on a hill and is perfect for families or couples and sleeps up to 8 people. The fully equipped Cottage is a great retreat for those seeking some downtime from the daily grind, either in summer or wintertime. Close to the Capel Sound foreshore and everything Rye has to offer.
In the winter, relax and unwind in the cosy cottage with a glass of red, candles and a good book or visit the Peninsula Hot Springs or play some rounds at the Dunes Golf club, both only a short drive away. In the warmer months bathe in the sunshine on the large very private deck surrounded by Ti Trees, either relaxing around the 8 seated table or lounge by the BBQ on the deckchairs or double hammock.
The cottage is a 20 minute walk, 10 minute bike ride, or 3 minute drive to the Capel Sound beach foreshore, and Rye village with its cafes and restaurants. Kids are welcome and can be entertained with Nintendo, DVDs, books and a box of toys. For the rainy days relax on the undercover tranquil front verandah which runs the full length of the house. The two Queen size bedrooms look out onto the verandah and the magical Ti Trees.
There is a separate dining area that seats 8 and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower, separate bath, and a separate toilet. Laundry facilities include a washing machine, laundry sink, and a fold out clothes line. The cottage has a gas wall heater for the colder days and 3 portable fans for the warmer ones. There is room for 2-3 cars in the front drive.
