Acacia Family Houseboats

Acacia Houseboats are family designed houseboats with sleeping capacity from 2 to 10 people. They are owned and operated by Tim and Val Knight and moored on the Murray River in Mildura, Victoria.

We guarantee our boats are clean and comfortable, to give you a great holiday on the Murray and Darling Rivers. They are personally serviced by us to give you reliability and safety.

Enjoy this section of the Murray River as the weather is great, even in winter average temperatures are around 16 - 18. Water levels are controlled by locks and weirs due to the large irrigation schemes in the area. Even with the drought we have full river levels due to these weirs.We have increased our fleet to eight boats this year so we can cater for groups of 2 people right up to 10.

We have boats with two bedrooms, specialising in small groups of 2 to 4 people, up to larger boats with four double bedrooms with zip apart double beds, which sleep doubles or singles. Windermere Dream, Magnum, River Drifter and, our love boat, Aquarius (2-4 berth) all have large spa's on the top deck. So, now you can holiday with Mildura's leading houseboat company. Try our new "B&B on a boat" for 1 - 3 nights while you visit Mildura. Enjoy a short boat ride as the boat is moored in a quiet spot near town and we provide a 'cook your self brekky'. All for just $130 per night for 2 people. Families $165 (2 adults & 2 child). Extra child $22. Extra adults $35. Car parking next to mooring. Why stay in a motel? Double room 3 boats have 1 double bedroom. Double rooms 2 boats have 2 double bedrooms. Double, twin bunks 1 boat has 1 double and 1 twin bunk bedrooms.
