Blackwood Cottages
Blackwood Cottages have eight fully self contained, two bedroom cottages. The cottages all have queen size beds in the main bedroom, the others bedrooms have either three single beds or two single beds and one has two queen size beds plus a single bed.
We are now pleased to also present the Courtyard B&B, (specially for couples only - no children), featuring a large bedroom with an open-plan, adjoining ensuite and separate lounge/kitchen area. The ensuite has a large corner spa, double shower, double vanity and toilet.
Set in three acres of gardens, you can experience nature from the privacy of your cottage. King parrots and kookaburras come to your verandah to be hand-fed with seed provided by your hosts.
Facilities include - full size stove - microwave oven - washing machine in six - remote colour television, videos, CD and DVD players - four have dishwashers - good heating and cooling, all have reverse cycle air conditioning, plus other heating - hair dryers - iron and ironing boards - blankets - pillows -doonas. A light breakfast basket can be provided on request
There is a comprehensive folder in each cottage, with all walking maps, commercial brochures, some suggested day trips and places of interest to visit. After your trip to the snow, all that wet gear can be dried in the drying room.
There are two undercover barbecues located in the gardens for your use. There is a swing, totem tennis and best of all, plenty of space outside to run around. There are also two tennis courts for guests.
An on-site phone enables you to keep in touch with the outside world. If you are arriving late, a platter from a local restaurant can be delivered to your cottage.
