Kookaberry Berry Farm
Kookaberry Strawberry Farm is a family run business, having grown gorgeous berries to tickle anyone s fancy for 32 years. Hubby Tony decided to come up with an idea of utilising the not so marketable berries by producing jams which wife Frances makes. Frances jams have won several awards, Gold, Silver and Bronze at the Sydney fine food show and the Hobart fine food show thus making her jams popular, she also has now expanded producing coulis, she supplies quite a few local tea rooms with bulk jams that being Warratina Lavender Farm, Paperbark caf at Kuranga Native Nursery, Olinda Golf House and Katandra Gardens.
The jams and coulis are sold at various outlets, the Yering station farmers market, The Historical Railway Station Farmers Market at Yarra Glen ,local fruit shops, Kuranga Native Nursery,Gateway Estate in Coldstream, Olinda Golf House, Cheesefreaks in Healesville, Seville Fresh Fruit in Seville, Tessalaars Tulip Festival, wineries in NSW also in various other local outlets and markets and of course at the farmgate.
The Kookaberry farm is also part of the Yarra Valley regional food group trail, which focuses on local food and wine. Enjoy fresh or frozen strawberries, blackberries, boysenberries, loganberries and raspberries and of course the jams from the farm gate.
