Hampton Road Heritage Walk

The Hampton Road Heritage Walk is two kilometres long. The walk includes 37 buildings of historical interest.

Examples of historical buildings include Chiverton House Museum, Sacred Heart Convent, Our Lady in Ara Coeli Church (designed by Monsignor Hawes renowned for architecture in the mid west). The old Railway Station built in 1879 on Mary Street was the first government railway building in Western Australia. The Gwalla Church and cemetery ruins on Gwalla Street.

The walk offers plenty of places to rest or purchase refreshments.
