Wapet Creek

Wapet Creek was used in 'Operation Potshot' during World War II. As a result of a cyclone, the old barges and landing craft have now blown inshore and lie partly submerged in the creek.

Fishing and crabbing can be enjoyed from Wapet Creek, but 'beware' as the poisonous Stonefish also make it their home!

The four wheel drive track over the range has been closed to casual traffic.
