Moora Heritage Trail

The Moora Heritage Trail provides an excellent opportunity to discover the delightful farming town of Moora and nearby Berkshire Village. The trail takes you past a number of buildings of historical significance including delightful churches and the Moora Court House.

The intriguing Berkshire Village is just 25 minutes drive east of Moora. Take a walk around the historic 1840s farming township which has a distinct similarity to its namesake, the English county of Berkshire. Explore the homestead, stables and shearing shed before meandering through the Mill Museum. You are welcome to visit the Berkshire Village any time, however, it is officially open every second Sunday between April and October.

Wildflowers grow in abundance between July and October and the Moora Wildflower Drive is a great to way to complete your driving tour of the area.

Moora is just two hours north of Perth and the half way point on the road to Geraldton. Collect the trail brochures from the shire office before commencing your tours.
