Old Southern Cross Cemetery
Located east of the town on Great Eastern Highway, the few remaining headstones dating back to the 1890's were restored in 1971 with a quartz boulder and tablet from the nearby Frazer Mine.
The cemetery was opened in 1891 but closed after seven years because the goldfields railway line and pipeline were built right through the middle.
