St Barbara Square & Statue
St Barbara's Statue is located in St Barbara's Square, Hannan Street.
St Barbara is the Patron Saint of miners.
The statue and fountain was erected during the inaugral St Barbara's Mining and Community Festival, as a tribute to the strength of the mining industry in the city and region.
The festival is held in December every year.
