Railway Station Museum

Located in Woodward Street, the Railway Station was built in 1896. The Varischetti Rescue which attracted world wide publicity is graphically portrayed.

Until its closure in 1971 when the Trans Australia Railway Line was relocated north of the town, the Coolgardie Railway Station was the stopping place for what was once the third largest town in Western Australia.
