Dundas Rocks and Lone Grave

Situated twenty-two kilometres south of Norseman off the Esperance Coolgardie Highway. Dundas Rocks is popular picnic area. Take a bush walk and explore the surrounding remains of the old ghost town and the ancient rock formations which date back five-hundred and fifty million years.

The Lone Grave is an enigma on a spit of land on the far edge of Lake Dundas. The grave belongs to Stanley Whitehead who died 8 April 1897, aged seven months. The site is unique because of the timber headstone and guard rails cut out of bush timber. It is also the only proof that the site was at one time inhabited by man.

Don't forget to check out the old dam which supplied the town with water.
