Niagara Dam

Niagara Dam was built in 1897 to provide water for locomotives on the run between Kalgoorlie and Leonora.

The dam was built with cement hauled from Coolgardie by a caravan of 400 camels.

An abundance of bird life can be seen by the dam waters.
