The Ravensthorpe Range lies to the north and east of the Fitzgerald River National Park in the far south of Western Australia. Take the opportunity to explore the outstanding natural beauty and biodiversity of this pristine bushland, which boasts more eucalypts than anywhere else in the world.

The Fitzgerald River-Ravensthorpe Range area is classed as one the world’s ’biodiversity hotspots’. Aspiring botanists and plant lovers will be captivated with more than 1,800 beautiful and rare species of flowering plants, as well as the multitude of lichens, mosses and fungi.

The Ravensthorpe Range comprises of 40 kilometres of low hills, adjacent to the town of Ravensthorpe. Visit the two lookouts to admire the spectacular views of the ocean, surrounding countryside, diverse landscape and small towns. Conventional vehicles can access the range via two of the access roads, though a four wheel drive iis required to access the Range Top Drive.

Ravensthorpe is a seven hour drive south east of Perth and is well worth visiting for its rich geology as well as the myriad of native flora and fauna species unique to the region.
