Goldrush Tours commenced operation in 1973 and over the past three decades has grown to become the largest privately owned luxury Coach Company in Western Australia.

Goldrush Tours extensive fleet of five star luxury coaches and midsized tour buses can accommodate any sized gathering. 3 Day Beyond the Golden CityExperience life in an outback homestead and relive the history of the wild, wild west. Explore the largest outback city in Australia and be awed by the rugged beauty of the Northern Goldfields and the amazing exploration legacy of our ‘Diggers'. Visiting towns such as Gwalia and Laverton, this is a tour not to be missed. Tour price includes transfers to and from Perth via the Transwa Prospector Train service. History and Heritage and Mining Hall of FameThis is a great introduction to the city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, exploring the magnificent architecture of the 1890's. With your informative tour drive, discover the beautifully restored buildings and the fascinating history that only Kalgoorlie-Boulder can offer. Visit the KCGM Super Pit which is the largest open-cut gold mining operation in Australia. Pay tribute to the renowned Royal Flying Doctor Service with a guided tour of their Kalgoorlie Airport Operation on-site (Monday to Friday). A visit to Kalgoorlie would not be complete without a drive along Hay Street past the infamous red light district with it's unique 'starting stalls'. At midday you can call it a day or you can visit a ridgy-didge underground mine at the Hannans North Tourist Mine, home of the awesome Australian Prospectors and Miners Hall of Fame. Experience life underground in a one hour guided tour, view a gold pour and try your hand at gold panning. Enjoy a well earned tea break followed by a stroll around the interactive exhibition halls dedicated to our past, present and future. Travel through the gold mining areas of Siberia and Goongarrie arriving in Menzies late afternoon, then journey onto Lake Ballard. Arriving at Lake Ballard, view the 51 sculptures that express Antony Gormley's most daring commission to date. At Lake Ballard take time out to explore before indulging in appetizers, champagne on ice and a light supper as you witness the sun setting across the expansive salt lake from Snake Hill. This is a surreal experience you will never forget. Travel back to Kalgoorlie with a short break in Menzies as you reminisce over an unforgettable day in the West Australian Outback. Departs Wednesdays and Saturdays; 11am during winter and 12pm during summer, returning early evening subject to minimum numbers. Prospectors Golden LoopExplore over one hundred years of gold exploration with its successes and heartaches. Depart Kalgoorlie travelling westward along the Great Eastern Highway to Jack Carins camp. This humble dwelling may look like story book stuff, but even today you will find some old prospectors still living in these conditions. Driving onto Coolgardie learn about Ernest Giles, documented as Western Australia's last explorer and tour Warden Finnerty's home, the man responsible for the signing of the Patrick Hannan claim in 1893. At the Goldfields Exhibition in the Coolgardie Museum, learn about Modesto Varischetti who was trapped underground for nine days in a flooded mine and then enjoy an historical tour of the town. Continue on to Ora Banda via the Golden Quest Discovery Trail, visiting the ghost town of Kunanalling along the way. At Ora Banda learn the chequered history of the area including the bombing of the hotel that was notoriously followed by the car bombing murder of its owner. Discover the history of the State Battery built in 1913 and then drive through Grant's Patch on the way to the Broad Arrow Hotel - home of the movie 'The Nickel Queen' starring Googie Withers. Departs Tuesday and Friday at 8am subject to minimum numbers. Shady Dealings Wild West TourTour Hannan Street and the Museum of the Goldfields with its impressive gold vault; stand in Claude De Barnales boardroom and discover the shady dealings and rip off scams which conned major investors' worldwide. Visit the KCGM Super Pit, see the opening of the old mine shafts in the pit wall and learn from your personal tour guide the less publicised and untold tales of gold stealing and dodgy doings that are the dark side of our golden history. Tour the Historic Cornwall Hotel and hear of the violent murder of Gold Stealing Detectives Pitman and Walsh and its gruesome association with the hotel. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the company of ghosts - yes, the Cornwall is haunted. Hear about Kalgoorlie-Boulder's famous skimpy barmaids, the controversy of their employment and the inventive ways publicans have devised to maximise their exposure. Tour Burt Street, home of the Metropole Hotel, where miners ingeniously dug a shaft under the Hotel and up through the floor of the front bar.
