CampingSet at the foot of the majestic Cockburn Range, Home Valley Station is the perfect location for those travelling the Gibb River Road to base themselves while touring the Kimberley Region. We have powered and non-powered sites, with new and clean bathrooms, hot showers and flush toilets, gas barbecue facilities and lots of shade. With more than three million acres of wilderness to explore, Home Valley Station invites you to settle in and discover the real Australia. Grass CastlesThe newest and most luxurious accommodation in the Kimberley! Our Grass Castles are designed for those seeking the ultimate in comfort while touring the dramatic Australian outback. This premium level accommodation is located along the banks of the beautiful Bindoola Creek. Shaded by towering eucalypts abundant in birdlife, the Grass Castles are reminiscent of sturdy steel and timber homesteads designed by the Kimberley's early pioneering settlers - however, they are ultra-modern in comparison. The comfortable air conditioned rooms with king size beds are perfect for accommodating guests year round. Homestead Guesthouse RoomsHome Valley Station's new Homestead Guesthouse Rooms offer you an exciting insight into our cattle station history. New buildings may have replaced the original stockman's quarters, but with sensitive designs and the use of similar materials such as corrugated iron walls and cool concrete floors, the history and authenticity is set to remain. These rooms, with king size bed, are moments from Home Valley Station's famous Dusty Bar and Grill, the irresistible lagoon-style pool and wet bar, Station Store, and night-time campfire entertainment. Porter service assistance is available upon request via reception. Sand Castle Eco TentsThe ultimate in combining guest comfort with an intimate experience of the Kimberley and all its natural treasures. Our Sand Castle Eco Tents are extra large semi-permanent safari-style tented cabins (five metres x six metres) located in an idyllic bush setting. Sand Castle Eco Tents feature extra-high pitched roof tops, queen size bed or two single beds, and large canvas windows on all sides which can be fully drawn back at night to reveal a stunning blanket of Kimberley stars. This is a truly unique Kimberley wilderness experience, with no television and no phones, to allow you to simply sit back, relax and drink in the Australian outback at its very best. | |
