Discovery Holiday Parks - Lake Kununurra is a quiet, idyllic spot, close to nature, set on ten acres of land, two kilometres west of Kununurra township, and is the only park situated on the banks of Lake Kununurra.
An abundance of large established trees make the park a very cool, peaceful place to camp or caravan with many sites along the waterfront.
We offer the most diverse range of onsite accommodation within a park in Kununurra. These range from fully self-contained, air-conditioned bungalows and park homes, through to air-conditioned park cabins overlooking the tranquil waters of the lake. On-site air-conditioned caravans are also set on the lake's edge for the budget conscious traveller.
Our grounds are well maintained and amenities kept fresh and clean. A camper’s kitchen, tropical swimming pool, barbecues and disabled facilities are also available. The local golf club is metres from your doorstep (clubs available for hire). Small dinghies may be launched from the park and moored near your site. We also offer park patrons canoe and boat hire.

BungalowOur Bungalows are nicely appointed on the waters' edge with a large verandah, which boasts lovely lake views. An outdoor setting is supplied for you to relax and take in the peace and tranquillity of the park The Bungalows are air-conditioned and sleep up to eight people and have a fully equipped kitchen and all linen is provided. There are two separate bedrooms, each divided with ¾ walls, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. There are also two bunk beds (four singles) in the main living area off to the side and out of the way. Lakeview VillaOur villas are nicely appointed with a large three metre verandah which boasts lovely views of Lake Kununurra. An outdoor setting is also supplied for you to relax and take in the peace and tranquility of the park. The villas are air-conditioned and sleep two people and have a fully equipped kitchen and all linen is provided. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and soft bed in the lounge room. Five villas have absolute waterfront and four villas setback, but still have great water views. One villa features disabled access and facilities. On Site VansWe have three onsite vans available with sleeping facilities ranging from two to five people. The configurations are either one double bed, or a double bed with a bunk bed (two singles) or a double bed, one single bed and a bunk bed (two singles). Linen is not provided however you may hire it for a cost of $10 per set for the duration of your stay. The vans are self contained with a gas cook top, all crockery and cooking utensils, fridge, television and air conditioning. An outdoor setting is also included where you can admire the lovely lake views. The shared amenities block and swimming pool is in close proximity. Park CabinOur park cabins all have lovely views and are fully self-contained with air-conditioning. The main bedroom is separate with a queen size bed. There is a vanity basin with plenty of bench space and the shared amenities block is only metres from the cabin. All linen is provided. Park HomeOur park homes are well appointed along the waterfront with lovely lake views. They are fully self-contained with kitchen and are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathroom. Powered SitesWe offer a variety of powered sites, suitable for caravans, campervans, tents or motor homes. These sites have both water and sullage connections and dump point. Sunrise Villa/Sunrise Spa VillaOur villas are nicely appointed with a large three metre verandah, which boasts lovely lake views. An outdoor setting is also supplied for you to relax and take in the peace and tranquility of the park. Our two bedroom Sunrise Villas are very spacious with air-conditioned comfort and sleep up to five people. There are two separate bedrooms; one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds and a sofa bed in the lounge room. The villas have are fully self-contained with kitchen and linen provided. Four of the villas have spa baths and one villa has disabled access. Unpowered SitesWe offer a variety of unpowered sites located in shaded areas with most having absolute waterfront locations. | |
