Stockmans Grave
Stockmans Grave is marked with a tinplate cross, marking the grave of pioneer stockman David Shuttle, who was featured under the name of 'Dan in Jeannie Gunn's famous book 'We of the Never Never'.
Dan is said to have consumed a gallon of rum and was found dead at Capsize Creek the next day. They say that at the creek, his ghost may be heard on moonlit nights.
The grave is found on the Old Wyndham Road (four wheel drive access only) not far from Black Rock Falls.
