SS Colac
The remnants of the SS Colac are situated in the planned gardens of the shire buildings in Loch Street.
The remains are the anchor and propeller from the ship which ran aground south of Derby in 1910. The area is surrounded by the public swimming pool and a botanical garden.
In the surrounding area the Derby botanical garden can be found featuring many species of palms, local flora and tropical fruit species. The Derby swimming pool is nearby.
