The Grotto
The Grotto is a swimming spot at the base of a 120 metre cliff which during the wet season becomes a waterfall.
Peer over the edge of a sheer rock wall and catch a glimpse of the clear water below. This is the first impression of the grotto. A staircase takes you into the greenery that surrounds this rock bound waterhole.
During the wet, a waterfall cascades over the rockface into the apparently bottomless pool below. In the dry season when lizards bask lazily on rocks, all is silent except for the occasional bird calling overhead.
The grotto is an ideal swimming spot and a Tarzan rope provides much entertainment for those daring enough.
