Digger's Rest Station
Immerse yourself in the Australian bush and experience the Kimberley by horseback, following the ancient river systems and old stock routes used by drovers of yesteryear with Digger’s Rest Stations.
Choose from two or fourteen day treks, or if you prefer, take in the scenery with our trail rides around Digger’s Rest.
Our stock horses are willing, well trained and sure footed!
You will spend about six to seven hours a day in the saddle, with stops for morning tea, lunch and then into night camp, which is always near a billabong for dipping.
Then enjoy a hearty meal and talk around the campfire. Support vehicles carry all the gear and are there at every stop, route permitting. All meals, a comfortable swag and mosquito dome are provided. What better way to take in the amazing Kimberley bush.
We offer guided fishing with gear supplied if you want to try your hand at fishing in the King River. Or if you prefer bushwalking, the King River runs along the Eastern boundary of Digger’s Rest making it an ideal base for bushwalking where you can explore the surrounding country.
