Maclyn Grove
Maclyn Grove is more than just an olive grove and a producer of excellent quality Extra Virgin Olive Oils and other olive products.
Set among traditional farming lands in the Upper Blackwood Valley region in the southwest of Western Australia, we are situated midway between Collie and Boyup Brook.
The farm has 3000 olive trees growing along with eggplant, roma tomatoes, chilli and capsicums. From these we produce Melanzane (pickled eggplant) and sundried tomatoes. Our extra virgin olive oil is added to create a wonderfully healthy taste sensation. The property also has ancient fruit trees including figs. From these we produce our old-fashioned jams and pickles.
Come and visit us to see what we can do with olives and olive oil.
We hand pick our table olives, we then pickle and marinate them to an age-old recipe. We also produce yummy tapenades. Try our sundried tomatoes, chilies, and melazane.
Smell our hand made soaps, sample our beautiful body lotions, and massage oils. All made with olive oil of course. See where they are made. Walk through the grove and the natural bush with many wildflowers out in season. See protea, leucadrendon, lavenders and boronias, along with native Christmas trees and blackboys. Learn a little about olive trees and see the olive processing plant operating when olives are being harvested. Or just sit under the big white gums and enjoy the peace and quiet with a free coffee.
