Carlaminda Wines
Carlaminda is situated in the heart of the Ferguson Valley, close to the Ferguson Hall, approximately nine kilometres from Dardanup. The vineyard was planted in 1994 in the middle of one of the most beautiful areas in the South West of Western Australia. Imagine rolling hills with grazing cattle, little streams meandering through magnificent native bush and forests, waterfalls, spectacular views of the Indian Ocean stretching from Cape Naturaliste to Bunbury.
Carlaminda is one of the few wineries in the Ferguson Valley that makes the wines entirely on estate, and offers Shiraz, Shiraz Viognier, Semillon, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Reserve Semillon, Merlot, Viognier and Nebbiolo as well as a Rosé.
The Carlaminda Bistro is an excellent destination if you wish to have ‘French country cuisine’ with excellent wines. The setting is casual and comfortable, the outlook over the Ferguson Valley is most exquisite.
It might be the smallest French restaurant in Australia, but everything will be done for you to have an enjoyable experience with family and friends.
The authentic French cuisine is acquiring a solid reputation for offering guests a truly pleasant and unforgettable experience. The menu includes favourite classics from onion soup to salade nicoise, from daube de boeuf aux olives to salmon à l’alsacienne. There is freshly baked baguette on the table. The desserts range from mousse au chocolat to sorbets or crème brûlée. Bon appétit!
Carlaminda are open for wine tastings from Wednesday to Sunday 1100 to 1600 and for lunches on Saturday and Sunday or for groups by appointment.
