Juniper Estate
Juniper Estate is located in Margaret River, in the south west region of Western Australia. Thousands of wine lovers visit the Margaret River region via Perth each year and many find their way to Juniper Estate’s cellar door tasting room or picturesque grounds to enjoy Juniper’s award winning Western Australian wines.
Juniper Estate was planted by Henry and Maureen Wright in 1973 on Harmans Road South. Henry and Maureen established the vineyard, which they called Wright’s wines, in its picturesque setting along the Wilyabrup Creek. The original Margaret River vineyards were planted without irrigation. Wright’s vineyard was no exception and the original 21 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Semillon and Riesling are dry grown.
Juniper Estate aims to produce Estate wines which rank with the best wines to come from Wilyabrup. The Juniper Estate reds are true regional wines with minimal influence from the winery, and are a further example of Wilyabrup’s proven ability to produce wines of the highest quality.
All their wines are available at cellar door and open to visitors every day for tasting and sales. Wine can be enjoyed outside the cellar door on the grassed areas beside the Wilyabrup Creek.
