Laurance Cellar with its rustic charm and European sophistication offers visitors a tasting with a difference in magnificent surrounds.
With a choice of five single serve trays featuring delicious fresh local produce and one specifically catering for children, you are invited to relax and take your time while enjoying the magnificent surroundings. Beer is also now being served.
The building has been constructed of prefabricated concrete and its unique finish gives the perception of age. Ironbark timbers sourced from the old Wooloomooloo Wharf in Sydney feature throughout the building.
The cellar is adorned with beautiful artworks and sculptures from around Australia. The grounds boast a 1,000 bush rose garden and two spectacular sculptures, ‘The Garden of Eden’ and the very controversial ‘Free as a Bird’ or ‘Chick on a Stick’ as she is affectionately known by locals.
The building has a large open fire, is air conditioned and is family friendly with a fabulous playground for children.
Wine tastings are offered by way of three choices of trays at a minimal cost with complimentary nibbles.
Laurance produces two labels, the premium range ‘Laurance of Margaret River’ and ‘Aussie Jeans Rock’. These award winning wines can be purchased at the cellar in a fabulous variety of gift ideas or online or by telephone on +61 8 9321 8015.
