Tanglehead Brewing Company

Tanglehead Brewing Company is the first brewery in the Great Southern in over 70 years and revives a long history of brewing in Albany dating back to just after the first settlement in 1826.

Tanglehead produces a range of award winning handcrafted ales in its 800 litre all-grain brew house from all natural ingredients including malting barley grown in the Great Southern. Along with beer, Tanglehead produces great food teamed with a wide range of fine Great Southern wines.

Tanglehead is located on historic Stirling Terrace, overlooking Albany's Princess Royal Harbour, and is open for lunch and dinner from 1100 daily. Brewery tours are by appointment and include a Tanglehead tasting tray featuring samples of each of the four regular beers on tap.
