Mount Barker Hill Lookout
Situated on top of Mount Barker Hill, the lookout is easily pinpointed because of the 168 metre high television tower. The tallest free standing tower in the southern hemisphere.
It is well worth the 5 kilometres drive as the lookout provides panoramic views of the area.
A granite cairn with a bronze direction plate stands at the top of Mount Barker Hill. Also, a bench seat of granite was built on the site by the Plantagenet Historical Society in memory of the district's pioneer women.
