Norlup Homestead
Norlup Homestead was built by Commander Scott and his wife in 1874. The couple followed a track blazed by John Hassell of Albany in 1854 and set up one of the first farms in the district.
The magnificent old homestead was built using home made bricks and has been lovingly restored by present day owners, Lance and Margaret Hester.
The homestead is situated 27 kilometres from town on Norlup Road, off Scotts Brook Road. It is necessary to make an appointment before visiting and this can be done by calling 08 9767 3034.
