St Peter's Church
Mr JC Warren planned construction of the church after his elder son Campbell, was killed in World War I in France on August 16, 1918.
Relatives and friends helped with financial donations and the residents of the district helped in carting a lot of the stone, using dynamite to blast it out. There is a jade stone above the foundation stone that came from the old family property in South Australia, 48 kilometres from Adelaide.
Most of the pews and other fittings were donated. The bell was received from a relative in England. The roof was originally Sheoak shingles, but was later replaced with tiles.
Whilst visiting Bedgebup, you will also see the historic Badgebup Farm House.
