Fine Woodcraft Gallery

You are welcome to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of Murray and Lillian Johnson's multi award winning Fine Woodcraft Gallery. You'll find our Gallery, gift shop and cafe nestled in a tranquil garden surrounded by Karri Forest.

Appreciate the unique hand-crafted works of over 290 Western Australian artisans covering many art-forms, furniture, sculpture, painting, jewellery, glass and ceramics. Each piece is of the highest quality, and the gallery showcases the finest works from the south-west region.

Enjoy the ever-changing displays, professional service, delightful bird-filled gardens, wonderful coffees and cakes that all combine to create a truly sensual and unforgettable memory for the visitor.

Sensitivity to the environment is our focus. The unique wooden items for sale are crafted from ancient long dead trees found on the forest floor, rejected from traditional milling processes, or salvaged from old structures and transformed into magnificent solid wood furniture, sculpture and woodturnings. This green ethos is also reflected in the gallery's construction of rammed earth with salvages, recycled and plantation grown timbers.
