Happs Winery & Pottery
Happs Winery and Pottery is a premium wine producer with vineyards in Dunsborough and Karridale.
Since 1978 people have visited us to see our mud brick buildings that surround the much photographed garden courtyard. We offer wine tasting and occasionally music to be enjoyed on our ever spreading lawns.
The winery and cellar door are located in the north where the late varieties are well suited, while at Karridale, in the south, midday temperatures are moderated by a fresh breeze off the Southern Ocean. This assists flavour development in all grapes. Ripening takes three weeks to a month, later in the south in the moderate conditions of mid to late April.
Whilst visiting you can see stoneware pottery made from our own clay in the oldest of the regions potteries. The workshop is a co-operative for independent artists.
We are a friendly place, where you can wander at your ease and taste for your pleasure and we are confident that you will find something that you will enjoy.
