Bluff Knoll
Rising more than a kilometre above sea level, Bluff Knoll is one of the highest peaks in Western Australia and the perfect place for an outdoor adventure.
Part of the Stirling Range near Albany, Bluff Knoll is a favourite for mountain climbing and hiking. The climb up Bluff Knoll is regularly rated as one of the top hikes in the country. Take up the challenge and you’ll be rewarded with magnificent 360 degree views of the Stirling Range from the summit. On a clear day you can see as far as the Southern Ocean.
In spring time, colourful wildflowers bloom, making the climb even more picturesque. In winter, Bluff Knoll is one of the few places in the State that records snowfall.
The hike to the summit is about a three to four hour return trip.
