Lake Poorrarecup

About 60 kilometres north west of Mount Barker is Lake Poorrarecup. A large freshwater lake with wide white sandy beaches. It is used extensively for swimming, sailing and skiing. Its gently sloping shorelines makes it ideal for young swimmers.

The bushland near the lake is home to a variety of orchids. Both the Stirling Range and Porongurup National Parks are nearby and easily accessible.
