Mount Frankland
Drive 29 kilometres north of Walpole through the farming area to Mount Frankland. At the base of Mount Frankland there is also a small camp ground featuring a timber hut.
Visitors can enjoy a walk trail around the base of Mount Frankland or make a more strenuous climb to its peak for a breathtaking view of the surrounding forested hills and valleys and, in clear weather, views to the south coast and the Stirling and Porongurup Ranges, north of Albany. At the top there is a fire lookout post, this is used by the Conservation and Land Management in summer.
