Located on the south west corner of Western Australia, 60 kilometres from Busselton and 15 kilometres north east of Augusta the National Park covers and area of 3,273 hectares.

This park has attractive floral displays during the year for those prepared for rough walking. Vegetation includes jarrah/banksia woodlands along the Blackwood river. There are large swamps.

Fauna includes the western grey kangaroos, black swans, cormorants, massed geese, herons, emus and parrots.
