Whalers Beach

Whalers Beach is located in Frenchman Bay, a sheltered bay protected from most winds except northerlys. The shallow waters of the bay are great for kids and the deeper waters off the point are good for diving.

Ruins of an old Norwegian whaling station can be seen on the beach. There is a good spot for picnics with grassed areas, gazebos and gas barbecue facilities, public toilets and boat launching is available from the beach.

Other facilities include tea rooms and shop close by.
